2002 TMC Charity Give-away Truck
December 28, 2001
12-28 This week Bill, John, Eric and Brad disassembled the truck bed and removed the interior. A large sheet of 3/16" aluminum was previously used to keep stuff stored in the bed from falling through holes and onto the highway. In the cab, a Firestone tire sign was found pop riveted to the floor to keep feet from falling through onto the highway. These were both good temporary measures, but we will be welding new metal into the truck's floor and installing a new Oak bed in the future. The aluminum panel will be saved to make motor plates and brackets for the 2003 Seneca project. The following items will have to be replaced: drivers bed side, Bed strips, window regulator on the passenger door. Anyone having usable parts for this truck and willing to donate them to the club for charity please contact the club president at president@tidewatermoparclub.com. The club is also selling the roll bar and toolbox that came with the truck. See the TMC Classifieds for details.
